Eleanor Dunsdon & Gregor Black are a multi-award-winning Glasgow-based harp and percussion duo blending traditional music with jazz, folk, classical, and electronic influences. Graduates of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, they push musical boundaries with innovative arrangements and fresh compositions. Winners of the Danny Kyle Award and Purbeck Rising 2024, they’ve performed at events such as Celtic Connections, Love Folk Festival and the Edinburgh International Harp Festival, selling out venues on their Ireland tour. Taking inspiration from parts of Ireland’s disappearing language, the duo explore humanity’s fascination with the ever-changing temperament of the sea through their music. Having performed across the UK and Ireland, their debut EP, 'Let No Man', has been championed on BBC Radio 3 (‘Round Midnight), RTÉ Radio 1 and BBC Radio Ulster. Recognised as UKHA Emerging Artists, the duo is redefining the role of the harp in contemporary music. “A fantastic sound … smashing every stereotype there is” (Lynette Fay, BBC Radio Ulster)
