A Guided Conversation Series for Older AdultsElderhood Roundtable is a welcoming, facilitated discussion series for older adults who enjoy meaningful conversation and connection. Participants gather together to socialize, reflect, and discuss topics of shared interest.
Conversations may include subjects such as family and grandkids, gardening, pets, aging and health, coping strategies for life changes, and even possible service projects participants may wish to explore together. Rather than lectures or advice-giving, Elderhood Roundtables center on listening, reflection, and shared wisdom, creating a respectful and supportive space for participants to speak from personal experience and hear diverse perspectives.
Sessions are designed to foster connection, reduce isolation, and support thoughtful engagement with the experience of aging. Participation is informal and welcoming.
Participants are warmly invited to bring home-baked cookies, pastries, or snacks to share.
A representative from SHIBA (Statewide Health Insurance Benefits Advisors) will be on hand to offer free, unbiased information about navigating Medicare and related benefits.
(Some sessions may also be available via Zoom.)
Facilitated by The Elderhood Senior Alliance. Find more information online here: https://www.elderhoodsenioralliance.org/
