Through storytelling, shared food, land tending and recapitulative play, we nurture and learn from intergenerational wisdom.
About this Event

Join us for a soulful gathering at Glue Garden in Northfield, Birmingham.

A space to connect with nature, each other, and what it means to elder.

The Elder Rings offers an invitation to slow down, reflect, and gather. Whether you're stepping into eldership or seeking connection, together we will explore what it means to be a good elder, not defined by age alone but by presence, care and intergenerational wisdom.

What to expect:

  • Land tending
  • Recapitulative play - Storytelling, sound, fire, creating with the earth
  • Shared food
  • Time to listen deeply, to the land, each other and ourselves

Financial Access

It is important to us that Elder Rings is accessible to all, regardless of financial means whilst also honouring the energy, time and resources it takes to hold this space with care.

We are offering a sliding scale to reflect different financial realities. Please choose the contribution that feels right for your circumstances:

Community Ticket – Free

For those who would not otherwise be able to attend. No questions asked, you're welcome here.

Sustainer Ticket – £30

For those with financial security who wish to support others' access, invest in regenerative community spaces, and help this work grow.

No one will be turned away for lack of funds. If you'd like to offer something else please get in touch, generosity flows in many forms.

Disability Access

We aim to create an environment that is calm, spacious, sensory aware, and flexible to individual needs.

The event takes place an outdoor community space with uneven ground in some areas. We will be gathering mostly on soft ground, with seated rest areas and shelter provided.
