Growing up in an old Watermill in the wilds of Yorkshire Elaine surrounded herself by music, writing songs influenced by her surroundings and music both in the UK and USA. Elaine finely honed her distinctive voice and built a reputation for her emotive mesmerizing stage presence.
Memphis Gerald’s was born and raised in Scotland, adrift in genre and sensibility, Memphis weaves traditional Celtic guitar styles into love of country, roots and even punk.
As the listener immerses themselves in Memphis’s wandering ballads, they discover a tender insight as his songs delicately pluck at the essence of venturing from familiar roads, love, loss and finding solace.
