Make plans to be part of the kickoff El Trote De Las Calacas/Trot of the Skeletons. For the first time ever, the Gail Borden Public Library District Foundation and the U-46 Educational Foundation have partnered to offer this 5K fundraising race. Part of the November 2 Dรญa de los Muertos event includes the 5K Race followed by our Day of the Dead Festival inside the Library. Both runners and walkers celebrate Day of the Dead. Complete with ofrenda, costumes, music and food, it will be truly memorable to be part of the first one. Early Bird registration begins July 1. El Trote de las Calacas is a USATF-certified course.

Por primera vez, la Fundaciรณn del Distrito de la Biblioteca Pรบblica Gail Borden y la Fundaciรณn Educativa U-46 se han asociado para ofrecer esta carrera de recaudaciรณn de fondos 5K. Parte del evento del Dรญa de los Muertos del 2 de noviembre incluye la Carrera de 5K seguida de nuestro Festival del Dรญa de los Muertos dentro de la Biblioteca. Tanto los corredores como los caminantes celebran el Dรญa de los Muertos. Completo con ofrenda, disfraces, mรบsica y comida, serรก verdaderamente memorable ser parte de la primera carrera.
