Estas Clases de Teatro Bilingües, presentadas por El Teatro, son un espacio en persona para explorar la actuación desde el movimiento, la palabra y la escucha profunda, habitando el cruce entre español e inglés de forma orgánica y honesta.
Aquí no venimos a “actuar bien”.
Venimos a estar presentes, a mover el cuerpo, a arriesgarnos, a descubrir qué historias viven en nosotros cuando dejamos de traducir y empezamos a sentir.
Las clases son guiadas por founding members de El Teatro, Mariana Da Silva y Maga Shukar, y están abiertas a todos los niveles. No se requiere experiencia previa — solo disposición, curiosidad y ganas de crear en comunidad.
Habrá trabajo físico y de movimiento, así que ven con ropa cómoda.Este es un espacio para equivocarse, para escuchar, para jugar, para volver al teatro como lo que siempre ha sido:

These Bilingual Theatre Classes, presented by El Teatro, offer an in-person space to explore acting through movement, language, and deep listening, inhabiting the space between Spanish and English in an organic and honest way.
This is not about “performing well.”
It’s about showing up — moving the body, taking risks, and discovering what stories live inside us when we stop translating and start feeling.
Classes are led by the founding members of El Teatro, Mariana Da Silva and Maga Shukar, and are open to all levels. No prior experience is required — only openness, curiosity, and a desire to create in community.
There will be physical and movement-based work, so please wear comfortable clothing.
This is a space to make mistakes, to listen, to playto return to theatre as what it has always been: a living, intimate, and deeply human act.
