El Sereno Tree Lighting Ceremony and Winter Jubilee, This year the event will be held at 3420 Portola Ave. El Sereno CA 90032 on Fri. Dec 13, 2024 from 5-9pm.
We are in the belief that in the spirit of holiday cheer we are bringing our deserving community the best event we can produce. This will include, as is our tradition, a COMPLETELY FREE EVENT!!! We will have a baby tent with toys, a kids toy tent, and a senior tent as well. We will have our host tent that will have all the snacks and items for all. Many activity booths, games with prizes, free raffles, photos with Santa and many more surprises.
In our true spirit of giving we will have a tent that will allow attendees to write and decorate Christmas Cards which we will take to the children in juvenile detention centers along with gifts that we will provide them. Together, let's let our love reach people in real and meaningful ways.
We will have special performances from our local schools and groups as well as a special live performances.
Of course our night would not be complete without our traditional Tree Lighting Ceremony at 6pm.
We invite you to join the El Sereno Bicentennial Committee and El Comite Navideno in any way you can.
Community Booths, Performances, Volunteering, Donations, Sponsorships are all needed and welcomed.
Our event will go on rain or shine, but it may look different in each case.
