Remember the music jams? All ages, all instruments, all skill levels, all welcome, all fun! Mark your calendars for Wednesday, November 20th at 5:30pm for the return of these legendary music jams to La Peña, led by José Roberto Hernández!
Las mermeladas musicales son un espacio donde la gente y sus instrumentos se juntan para hacer música, comunidad y compañerismo.
Don't play an instrument? Come and dance or just sit back and enjoy the mermelada.
Make new friends while enjoying yummy food and drink, free music and dancing, and supporting your local musicians. Los Cilantros and Chef Dilsa Lugo will be serving delicious and authentic Mexican food, aguas, beer and wine all night.
- Where: The Café/Lounge of La Peña Cultural Center, 3105 Shattuck Ave., Berkeley, CA
- When: Wednesday, November 20th from 6:00pm-8:00pm (Doors at 5:30pm)
- Price: FREE! (although donations to the musician's bucket are always appreciated!)
USEFUL TIPS:
- There is free neighborhood street parking, a #18 bus stop directly in front, and Ashby BART 3 blocks away.
- The restaurant opens at 5:30pm. We are expecting to have a full house so please come early to secure a seat.
