LACMA Latin Sounds and La Banda Elastica Present - El Gran Silencio, Buyepongo, Las Chikas, La Banda Elástica Dj’s
Launching the season, Levitt LA is partnering with LACMA's Latin Sounds and La Banda Elástica to co- present the concert series’ opening night on June 18, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm featuring El Gran Silencio, Buyepongo, Las Chikas, and La Banda Elástica DJ’s.
El Gran Silencio, a rock en español band from Monterrey, Mexico blending a variety of rock, reggae, dancehall, and dubinfluences with traditional Latin American musical forms such as cumbia, vallenato and banda as part of the musical movement known as Avanzada Regia.
Buyepongo, the vibrant and polyrhythmic band that created a new sound by seamlessly fusing Afro beats with Merengue, Punta, and Cumbia, creating what is now being referred to as "Buyangu."
Las Chikas, salsa never looked so good in the City of Angels, a melting pot of cultures and ethnicity come together to give birth to a multicultural female band that sets the stage on fire!

Levitt LA inicia la temporada en colaboración con Latin Sounds de LACMA y La Banda Elástica para co-presentar la noche de apertura de conciertos el 18 de junio de 2022 de 5:00 pm a 10:00 pm con El Gran Silencio, Buyepongo, Las Chikas y DJ’s de La Banda Elástica.
El Gran Silencio, una banda de rock en español de Monterrey, México, que combina una variedad de influencias de rock, reggae, dancehall y dubin con formas musicales latinoamericanas tradicionales como la cumbia, el vallenato y la banda como parte del movimiento musical conocido como Avanzada Regia.
Buyepongo, la banda vibrante y polirrítmica que creó un nuevo sonido fusionando a la perfección ritmos afro con merengue, punta y cumbia, creando lo que ahora se conoce como "Buyangu".
Las Chikas’ salsa nunca se han visto tan bien en la Ciudad de los Ángeles – un crisol de culturas y etnias se unen para dar a luz a una banda femenina multicultural que incendia el escenario.
