CU Boulder's top College of Music graduate students compete for a monetary grand prize in the Bruce Ekstrand Memorial Graduate Student Performance Competition, named for former Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Bruce Ekstrand.This year's esteemed panel of judges are Jason Bergman, Associate Professor of Trumpet at Indiana University's Jacobs School of Music; Courtney Hershey Bress, Principal Harp of the Colorado Symphony; and Cameron Stowe, Chair of Collaborative Piano at New England Conservatory and Director of Collaborative Piano at the Aspen Music Festival.
From orchestras, bands and choirs to jazz, world music and opera to world-class faculty and guest performances, the CU Boulder College of Music brings hundreds of stunning performances to Boulder audiences throughout the academic year.
