About this Event
Elieen Cowin and Darryl Curran in Dialog
Over the last forty years, photographers Eileen Cowin and Darryl Curran have helped to shape the landscape of lens-based art in Southern California and beyond. Their decades of teaching at California State University, Fullerton, extensive exhibition history, and dedication to mentoring younger artists have left a lasting impact. Both continue to make work that reflects their long-standing intellectual curiosities and ongoing engagement with the broader world.
Join us on December 7th for a conversation between these two accomplished artists as they discuss their distinctive creative processes, recurring themes in their respective works, and the value of art education and visual literacy. The conversation will be moderated by Arpad Kovacs, associate curator in the Department of Photographs at the J. Paul Getty Museum.
This event is presented by as part of our mission to create engaging coversations about the ways photography enriches and connects our community. Your donations and membership support make our work possible.
