Join Dirty Protest, an award-winning theatre company based in Wrexham, for a dynamic Open Space discussion bringing together local artists and creatives to explore the cultural future of Wrexham.

This session invites participants to share their thoughts on:

The culture of Wrexham today
The 10-year Cultural Strategy for Wrexham
Ideas and ambitions for the Wrecsam2029 UK City of Culture bid and its programme of events
What you need to build a sustainable career, make new opportunities, and build an infrastructure for better supported arts and culture in Wrexham

This isn’t a panel or a presentation, it’s a space shaped by the people in the room.

What is Open Space?Open Space is a participant-led discussion format where you help set the agenda. You’re invited to propose topics you care about, join conversations that matter to you, and move freely between discussions. Open Space fosters creativity, collaboration and real ownership.

Workshops, drop-ins and sessions are all free to attend, and age guidance or other access information is published for each individual session, as appropriate. Sessions can be attended as walk-up sessions, with no pre-booking required.
