Case studies from research into effective management of the work and work-life balance for GenZ staff to motivate and retain them
About this Event

Henley Business School conducts leading research with organisations on how to build stronger, more productive relationships with their people. Their Leadership Futures report highlights the growing need for organisations to unlock potential through enhanced ethics, sustainability and human-centric leadership.

This aligns closely with recent CIPD findings, which show that these values matter deeply to Gen Z. According to the research, organisations that embrace purpose, empathy and ethical practice are better positioned to thrive. As demographic shifts reshape the workforce, Dr Adeyinka Adewale and colleagues emphasise the importance of listening to—and amplifying—the voices of younger generations.

By adopting values-based leadership, organisations can attract high-calibre Gen Z talent by supporting work–life balance, reducing burnout through embedded wellbeing, and meeting expectations around equality, diversity and inclusion. In this session, Dr Adeyinka Adewale will present case studies from Henley’s research and offer practical strategies for managing work and work–life balance in ways that motivate, engage and retain Gen Z employees.

This interactive session will encourage discussion, shared learning and practical ideas for people professionals seeking positive, future-focused improvements in their organisations.

Please note: this event will not be recorded.
