EFATS2024: 4th Workshop Emissions Free Air Transport thru Superconductivity

Superconducting technologies – in particular superconducting power systems and electric motors – are likely to be key to the electrification of larger and / or longer-range aircraft.

These workshops aim to identify engineering and commercial challenges and opportunities.

EFATS2024

The 2024 workshop will be held in Enschede, The Netherlands, hosted by the University of Twente, and include:

• 2 days of technical presentations, discussions, and networking
• Reception and Dinner
• Tour of Lab at University of Twente

Note the 2024 workshop will not be broadcast and cannot be attended virtually.

Draft Programme

• 16 October Workshop Day 1, Reception and Dinner
• 17 October Workshop Day 2, Tours of University of Twente Labs

The programme is still under development, and may have opportunites to tour other relevant facilities in The Netherlands on either 15 or 18 October.

Note 1: UK VAT will be automatically added to ticket prices, and the total price shown during registration.

Note 2: The EFATS workshop are run on a not-for-profit / pro surplus basis, with any surpluses used to benefit the superconducting powertrain community.
