With the end of another Semester finally here, it means we are due for an EESS General Meeting! The nights agenda will include voting for members to take up the currently vacant roles in the executive team (see below), discussing what worked and what didn't in Semester 1, and what we have lined up for Semester 2! Even if you aren't running for a position please do still come along to not only support your fellow members but also have your say on what EESS should do next Semester and beyond. Dinner will be provided. Event Details:

Vacant Executive Positions:
- Social Team Manager
The Social Team is responsibly for maintaining the front of QUT EESS. They will primarily coordinate with the other teams on the usage of EESS social media including: Facebook, Discord, Website and SharePoint. They will use strategies to promote interaction with these services to ensure that the other teams are adequately promoting their events. This team will maintain communication with the Management Team to make sure they are aware of all events. The team must keep a record of meeting agendas and meeting minutes. The responsibilities of the team falls on the Social Team Manager and can be delegated to the Social Members at their discretion. Including the manager the Social Team should consist of 2- 3 members.
- Education Team Manager
The Education Team is responsible for creating and running education related events, workshops and projects. Education projects can be developed by the Education Team but must still be allocated a Team Lead by the Projects Team Leader and adhere to that teams processes before being run. The Education Team typically runs a study session once per week where they help students study. The team must keep a record of meeting agendas and meeting minutes. The responsibilities of the team falls on the Education Team Manager and can be delegated to the Education Members at their discretion. Including the manager the Education Team should consist of 2- 3 members.
- Industry Team Member
The Industry Team is responsible for maintaining and establishing new connections with industry for QUT EESS through networking events, workshops, projects, and advertising. This team is responsible for approaching companies for possible sponsorship opportunities and communicating that information to the Treasurer. The team must keep a record of meeting agendas and meeting minutes. The responsibilities of the team falls on the Industry Team Manager and can be delegated to the Industry Members at their discretion. Including the manager the Industry Team should consist of 2 - 3 members.
