Beav Boloney shows presenting under-sealife with:EEL MEN & FISH PEOPLE
Kinzigstr.9 /Fhain https://www.loge-berlin.org/
Einlass 19.00
start 20.00
Catchy, melodic vocals with clean strummed guitars and basketball basslines, EEL MEN use the classic vocabulary of British rock music but create something fresh and immediately enjoyable. It sounds polished and DIY at the same time, carefully arranged but still drawn from punk around the edges.
Couched in the instability of the present and the microcosm of North London, they prioritise angular guitars, straight rhythms and fanatical storytelling. After a long series of sweaty UK gigs and having already toured extensively around Europe, with gigs ranging from family friendly festivals to ex gestapo headquarters turned anarchist squats, there’s lots more on the horizon. 2025 see’s Eel Men release their debut LP ‘Stop It! Do Something.’ via No Front Teeth (UK / EU) Big Neck Records (US) and embark on an extensive EU tour.
Do yourself a favour and make sure you catch them live at one of their upcoming dates.

FISH PEOPLE sound like the Berlin Wall with dirty slush, like a screeching ride of a tram through the outskirts of an industrial city or the music seeping in from outside when you’re on a three-person adventure in a bar bathroom: dark-hued punkrock with lots of half-step transitions and dissonances, wailing, then roaring vocals that sound like how Siouxsie might have sounded if she had stayed punk
