Born and bred in NY, Islima loves to share her soulful jazzy voice with the world. A fuse of old school richness and modern day feels, she has performed on stages like the legendary Apollo and has toured in Germany with multiple celebrities.

While spreading her musical wings, she is simultaneously pursuing her doctoral degree in the nursing industry. In an intimate way, Islima wants to give back to her community one voice and one patient at a time. With her love of Music and Medicine, she strives to give young women a community for them to learn self-love and to use the healing properties of music to get them through any hardship.
