Edward Abbiati är en americana-heartland-singer-songwriter i absolut toppklass. Melodiösa låtar med snygga arrangemang. Han är nu aktuell med sitt andra soloalbum “To the Light” efter alla åren med bandet LOWLANDS. För fans av Steve Forbert, John Mellencamp, Elliott Murphy och Bob Dylan.
Edward Abbiati, born in Portsmouth to an English mother and an Italian father, is the former leader of THE LOWLANDS ("One of the best roots rock bands in Europe," according to the British magazine Rock'n'Reel). With Lowlands, he toured throughout Europe, from Stockholm to London and from Galway to Rome, recording about ten albums.
As a solo artist, his music takes on more indie flavors with "Me & The Devil," featuring Chris Cacavas (Green On Red), garage rock with ACC with Stiv Cantarelli, and his latest two works: "Beat the Night" (more acoustic) and "To the Light" (more electric), released by Appaloosa Records (distributed by IRD). Among the best albums of 2023 according to Americana Highways (UK) and Rootshighway (ITA). A mix of indie rock, singer-songwriter and americana.
A highly experienced live band featuring Maurizio Gnola on guitar, one of Italy’s greatest guitarists having played in Italy's biggest theaters, arenas up to the San Siro Stadium. The band is touring as a 5 piece band with Enrico Fossati on bass and Mattia Martini on drums and Francesco Bonfiglio on keyboards
