Educational Session - EPR "A STATE-BY-STATE PERSPECTIVE"

Region 8 Northern New England Chapters of SWANA will be hosting a one-day Educational Session focused on Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR). The session will provide a State-by-State Perspective on where EPR is headed and explore the challenges and opportunities on how EPR is shaping the industry and what it means for your communities.

The Educational Session will take place on September 24, 2025, at UMASS Amherst. There will be a networking event on September 23, 2025, at 6pm. We will have speakers throughout New York and New England States sharing their perspectives. This will allow us the opportunity to hear from other states who anticipate enacting EPR Policies and Programs and will also include states that anticipate following suit.
