Beekeeper Belle Lensing will go over the hive structure (the queen bee, workers, and drones), what the jobs are of the different bees, how honey is made, the importance of pollination, beekeeping pests (mostly the varroa mite), and beekeeping tools.~Meet at the Visitor Center by 6pm and take a golf cart ride to visit the bees!
Registration is required and tickets are $5 per guest. Fee will be used to support the Dubuque Arboretum!
