Identification of the food chain and it's habitat!
Join us for a fun and educational afternoon at Ralph Simmons State Forest! Learn to identify various soils, insects, plants, reptiles, amphibians, birds, and mammals, their habitats, and interactions in their natural ecosystem! This hands-on event will give you the opportunity to explore and identify the diverse ecosystem of the area. Don't miss out on this chance to connect with nature and learn more about the environment. Please also bring a filled water bottle for the walk.
Ralph E. Simmons Wildlife Management Area, 2pm - 5pm, Trailhead parking on State Route 121/Lake Hampton Road, approximately 2 miles east of U.S. 301 next to powerline right-of-way.
