8:00 - 8:45 Acne Therapy From a Pharmacist's Point of View-- Caitlyn King
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
1. Understand the minor ailment assessment and procedure pharmacists use for prescribing therapy to treat acne
2. Identify red flags that warrant a pharmacist to refer a patient with acne to a physician
3. Classify and compare the different types of topical acne therapies readily available in a community Ph*rm*cy setting today
4. Recognize what acne therapies cost and which qualify for coverage through the Ontario Drug Benefit Program

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
1. Develop an approach to differentiating between presentations of Rheumatoid/Inflammatory Arthritis versus Osteoarthritis
2. Review recent updates in the management of Inflammatory Arthritis and Osteoarthritis
3. Understand specific considerations for patients prescribed immune modulators when dealing with surgery, acute infections, vaccinations and malignancy

10:30-11:15 Lumps, Bumps and More! Pediatric Dermatology for the Community Practitioner--Dr. Javed Mohammed
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
1. Develop an approach to the diagnosis of common paediatric skin conditions
2. Be able to implement first line treatments when appropriate
3. Be able to triage these conditions appropriately for dermatology referral

11:30-12:15 Dermatoses in Skin of Colour--Dr. Jessica Howard
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
1. Examine unique characteristics of dermatologic presentations in skin of colour.
2. Discuss common skin conditions that present more frequently in people of colour.
3. Develop a person-centered approach to treating skin conditions in people of colour.
