About this Event

This event is being organised and facilitated by members of the Microbiology Society’s Education and Outreach Network (EON). The workshop aims to give those interested in microbiology-based, and more broadly life sciences-based, pedagogy and outreach research the opportunity to gain skills and confidence in publishing their work, alongside time to reflect on and write up their publication. Furthermore, attendees will have the opportunity to form peer support networks and collaborations. The publication landscape will be discussed and the role of Access Microbiology in supporting the education and outreach research community.

The workshop is designed for those who want to engage with microbiology/outreach pedagogy and don’t know where to start and those who have started/completed a project but don’t know how to write it up for publication.
