About this Event
The Canadian Heart Association's approved BLS Education Program will provide you with the theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills needed to respond to medical emergencies to help you obtain the best possible outcome for your patient.
The BLS Education Programs program emphasizes the importance of:
- Recognizing a patient in a cardiac-arrest or in a pre-cardiac-arrest state,
- Early and continuous, high-quality CPR.
- Managing a Cardiac Arrest when alone, with a small team, and large teams with an empasis on high-performance.
The course reflects science and education from the 2020 International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) Guidelines for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).

- CPR with an Advanced Airway

- Anaphylaxis Management
- Managing The Drowning Patient
- Recognizing and Managing a Heart Attack

Are There Any Course Prerequisites?
- There are zero prerequisites for this program. No pretest is required.
What Certificates Will I Earn At The End Of The Program?
- The Canadian Heart Association BLS Provider Certificate, valid for one year.
