About this Event
It's Edinburgh Fringe season once more, and we have two dynamite acts doing one last run through of their show before the Fringe kicks off!
RYAN CULLEN: CULLEN IN THE NAME OF
If Milton Jones is the Obi-Wan Kenobi of one-liners, then Ryan Cullen is Darth Vader. He delivers with an economy of words, an unapologetic style and surgical precision. An act you'll be talking about long after seeing him. 'Big laughs, his material has the ruthlessness of a young Jimmy Carr and the sexual turpitude of Jim Jefferies at his most priapic. Extraordinary stuff' (Kate Copstick, Scotsman). 'Cullen is one of my favourite comedians. Hilarious and so dark you think 'How the f**k did he end up like this?'' (Daniel Sloss)
VLADIMIR MCTAVISH: 30 YEARS STILL STANDING UP
In 1994, Vladimir McTavish won the Strathmore Water Comedy Award on his first appearance at the Edinburgh Fringe. He never received the award and he’s won f*ck all since. However, in 2020, he finally received the trophy. This 2024 Edinburgh Fringe show, celebrating three decades in comedy, will be a hilarious mix of anecdotes of a lifetime in the business and an excuse to crowbar in some back catalogue. 'Nothing short of superb' (Scotsman). 'Takes amiable yet strident swipes against the horrors in store' (Scotsman).
Come on down, order a cocktail at the bar and head upstairs for the best value comedy show in (Old) Town!
Bar opens 4.00pm, show starts 8.00pm sharp. Show finishes approx. 10.00pm.
Ticket price covers entry to both shows. Both shows will last between 45-60 minutes with a break in between.
Break provided for refreshments and comfort. Bar is open until closing time.
This show is for 18+, sorry. No refunds if younger than this.
