Come and join us for one of the highlights of the Danish-Scottish Society calendar - the Edinburgh Christmas Party! Now with a Danish fair!The event will take place on Saturday 23rd of November 1.30pm-4.30pm in St. Anne's Church in Edinburgh.
🤗 For anybody new to the society and those who have not attended the Christmas Party before, we will have an allocated table to welcome you to the event.
☕️ We will be serving the Danish Christmas specialities of gløgg and æbleskiver for free. There will be other drinks and nibbles available for you to enjoy.
🎄 There will be the opportunity to make and take away your own craft Christmas decorations and you are welcome to visit our new Danish Fair. We are pleased to have a range of Danish businesses and craft makers join us to showcase their products across Danish design and homemade fashion and gifts.
📚 We will also have a Danish book exchange for children and adults, where you are welcome to bring and take away books as you see fit.
🎵 On the stage, we will have singer-songwriter Saraphir Camillle playing a mixture of her own songs and Danish/Scottish classics.
🎅 She will also provide the musical backing as we dance around the Christmas tree before Santa visits to hand out goodie bags to the children. If applicable, please make sure to state children's names and ages when signing up. Under 1s go free.
