What happens when you drop a pumpkin? It goes squash! Join us for our annual Pumpkin Smash & Bash at Countryside Park. The entire event is a pumpkin composting drop-off event. All pumpkins brought to the park will be composted through Edina's Organics Recycling program. Visitors may also roll, bowl and squish their squash for some extra slimy fun.There will be music and dancing, and participants are encouraged to wear their costumes one more time to promote reuse and repurposing. It'll be a smashing gourd time!
Event is free and open to everyone. Please bring only pumpkins that are natural and have no paint, glitter, candle wax or stickers. Make sure to remove glow sticks, lights or candles before you bring the pumpkins. Uncarved pumpkins are welcome but are not eligible for the rolling contest.
