Join us for a seminar on growing your own edible garden on a budget, part of the Edible Gardening Series.
This series will introduce you to the joys of growing your own edible garden. Whether you are thinking about growing your first edible garden or you are more experienced, you will gain valuable knowledge from these classes. In March you will learn the basics of creating a garden plot and maintaining it through the summer. In April the focus will be on how and when to start your plants from seed. The talk in May will provide you with tips and techniques of growing your edible garden on a budget. Irrigation will be the subject of the June talk. Starting a fall/winter vegetable garden will be the topic of the July discussion. Finally, in August the focus will be on growing culinary herbs. Please join us for this series on growing your edible garden!
This series of talks will be given by OSU Lane County Master Gardeners who are part of the Edible Gardening group. Members of this group have had years of experience growing our own vegetable and herb gardens. We look forward to sharing our experiences and knowledge with you and helping you to grow your own successful edible garden.
