Enjoy a fun & informative walk here with Herbalist Maggie Hatzpanian. She will discuss the edible & medicinal properties of the plants we see along the trail; sharing about their uses both in the kitchen and the Herbalist's Apothecary.
Venue Guidelines
The Norman Bird Sanctuary is a nonprofit wildlife sanctuary and environmental education center. All proceeds directly support our mission to protect our 300-acre refuge for the benefit of wildlife and the community to enjoy.
All guests are asked to respect the following guidelines:
• Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited.
• Outside beverages and seating are not permitted.
• Dogs and other pets are not allowed. Service animals are permitted.
Norman Bird Sanctuary events are fundraisers in support of our mission to engage a community of stewards to preserve, protect and enjoy this 300-acre property and the ecosystems within and beyond its stone walls. Through conservation, historic preservation, education and exploration, we foster lifelong connections between people and the Sanctuary’s rich and diverse habitats.
