About this Event
This reflective session has been created to facilitate organisational learning development needs in becoming better informed and aware in Faith and Cultural practices connected to the Islamic faith and its communities.
This session will develop learning and understanding of Cultural and Religious practices which works as a foundation to develop embedded relationships that are supportive of the design and delivery of projects, programmes and interventions. New learning experiences will be blended with lived experience to give a practical lens to the session.
The focus of the session with be an overview on the following:
- Language & Terminology
- Faith, Theology and Culture
- Organisational development needs & practice
This is a short 2.5-hour taster delivered by Focal Elements and is the sixth session in our equality, diversity & inclusion series.
Refreshments will be served during this event and there will be an opportunity to network.

This course is fully funded for VCSE sector groups & organisations delivering services in Gloucestershire.
