Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Communications is designed to help you as a marketer navigate how you should communicate externally and internally about EDI-centric topics. This workshop will teach you how to avoid performative communication and approach crisis communication with an EDI Lens. We will cover:

- The Impact of performative messaging
- Guiding Principles of EDI Communications
- How to objectively make EDI Communication decisions

About the Speaker
Reland Logan is an award-winning marketer and the founder of Gray Digital Marketing. She uses her marketing and sales skills to help take the time-suck out of social media and turn it into a scroll-stopping money maker.
She has been recognized as a Top 50 Marketer on the Rise by the African American Marketing Association and co-authored the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion National Pledge for the American Marketing Association. Réland is also a certified Business Coach and certified in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Communications. Currently, she is the President of the American Marketing Association PDX chapter.
