WELCOME to the FALL 2025 Edge4Vets Workshop, hosted by Vaughn College in Queens (across from LGA.)
You can use the workshop to prepare for a broad assortment of careers in NYC, including financial services and jobs at New York airports.
Our Free in-person workshop will help you translate your military strengths into "tools" for success, then we'll connect you to decision-makers at our partner companie to pursue job opportunities for the career and life you want.
Join us Friday, October 24, from 9:30am to 2:30pm, hosted by Vaughn College, 86-01 23RD AVE, FLUSHING, NEW YORK 11369, which is across from LGA.

We offer the program in partnership with the NYC Dept of Veterans' Services, sponsored by Macquaire (Global Financial Services,) the NY aviation industry, including the JFK Cargo Association, KAAMCO Cargo and several other cargo and security companies, such as World-wide Flight Services, ASAK and others.
THREE WAYS Edge4Vets provides you with "in person" support:
1. On Oct 24 we'll introduce you to business leaders and HR reps (decision makers) who will work with you in small-groups. They'll help you identify your strengths from the military, including Values and Skills. We'll teach you how to translate your military strengths for civilian success - and get you started on creating a personal PLAN4SUCCESS for an "edge" to get hired.
2. Following the workshop we'll give you access to our Edge4Vets online course for those who wish to take their strengths-translation preparation from the workshop to the next level. Through a series of short videos and exercises, the online course will guide you to refine your PLAN and put it into final form before you submit it to earn your Edge4Vets Certificate.
3. Also, we'll give you a list of the HR reps from our partner companies - and connect you to our community partners, such as Council for Aviation Opportunity and others for follow up support. You'll be able to reach out to them for help to MATCH your skills and interests from your PLAN4SUCCESS to line up interviews.
All of this is designed to put you on a pathway to success in civilian life.
