Welcome to Eden
We would like to invite you to a weekend immersion of life. A life that awaits each one of us that celebrates our hearts, bodies, sexuality, spirituality and the longing for sacred community.
We wish to celebrate the gift of standing together on these sacred lands of Aotearoa amongst the global challenges and to sound a note about what is sacred to you, to us and to these lands.
What if Eden was already here?
Over the weekend you will have the opportunity to participate in workshops, ceremonies and temples on the magical grounds of Highden Temple - a mystery school that hosts 28 acres of land dedicated to a new earth.
Eden Festival provides a full permission space, inviting safe, whole, powerful, supported, embodied experiences. The offerings deliver a diverse range of tools, practices, knowledge and experiential journeys into heart, body, sex and spirit. We are delighted to have both international and local facilitators, space holders, kaitiaki and a team of designated emotional support people who are here for your integration.
Personal Sovereignty and Self Responsibility are fundamental to the space. Our priority for the weekend is SAFETY. Each participant remains fully within their own boundaries from a place of authentic consent, while also remaining open to new experiences - that delicate edge is where all the learning happens.
We look forward to welcoming a diverse range of humans as together we walk our own pathway to Eden. We are committed to creating safe inclusive spaces that are free from assumptions about gender or orientation and our intention is that all activities are accessible for everyone.
This is a drug- and alcohol-free event to allow full, lucid, conscious participation so please leave your treats at home!
RESIDENTIAL
We are excited to be offering a residential festival at Highden Temple in Palmerston North, a strongly held and beautifully facilitated space that is safe and accessible for most.
TRIBAL CELEBRATION
It is our most significant annual tribal gathering where we celebrate, share and introduce new people to the tribe and re-connect with existing members. We will be living as tribe and community over the two days and invite a space of inclusivity, synergy and self responsibility.
Safety is paramount for these events and everyone is always free to choose in what or to what level they wish to participate. People are also always in their power to ask for what they need in any situation.
EVERYONE IS WELCOME
We strive to create an inclusive atmosphere where everyone is respected and honoured for their choices. This event is, however, for those over the age of 18 only.
OFFERINGS
On offer will be daily yoga, delicious healthy food, two concurrently running streams of presentations with local and international facilitators. We will end our evenings with fun embodied experiences to ignite the senses and bring aliveness to our beings.
ACCOMODATION
We have several accommodation options available to participants during the festival.
Unpowered camping/van spaces
Space on the manor grounds for camping and/or campervans. Participants will need to provide their own tent and other camping facilities. Communal toilets and showers are available.
Shared Rooms
We have dorm style (max. 3 occupants) accommodation available. These are mixed gender spaces and offer communal toilets and showers.
PS: Shared Rooms are "Female Only" or "Mixed Gender" please indicate your option at the question during the booking process.
Single Rooms
We have 6 single rooms (max. 1 occupant) available with communal toilets and showers.
Manor Rooms
We have a number of manor rooms, please contact the organiser at [email protected] for special festival prices.
FOOD OPTIONS
There are two options:
Fully catered
Our intention is for the participants to enjoy all that is on offer during the festival and not worry about cooking. You can choose a catered option that will include delicious and nourishing vegetarian/vegan meals throughout the festival - 1 meal on Friday, 3 meals on Saturday, 2 meals on Sunday. All meals will cater for soy, dairy, nut and gluten free diets.
Please let us know if you have any allergies. If you have special dietary requirements or health issues, you are advised to bring some supplies of your own to supplement what is available. As much as possible, the food will be organic and GE Free.
Self catered
You can also choose to bring your own food. Be aware that there are NO kitchen facilities available on site so you have to bring your own cooking equipment. Also, no cooking is allowed inside of the rooms if you are staying in the bedrooms.
Hot drinks and treats
Also on offer throughout the festival will be chai, hot chocolate, coffee, tea and healthy dessert options. These will be at an additional charge.
ENTRY TICKET PRICE FOR FULL WEEKEND
The ticket price includes accommodation, and entry to all scheduled workshops and temple spaces. You also can add a catered meal ticket for an additional $125 and fully enjoy the event.
The theme for 2021 is standing for the sacred. Together we create the world that we long for and we embody the power and joy of transmitting what lives at the core of every person; our aliveness.

* 3 vegetarian meals per day (dairy and gluten free options). No kitchen facilities on site, although you are welcome to bring your own camping gear and food. Friday 16th will be served only 1 meal.
COVID REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICIES
If we cancel due to COVID19 or you are unable to travel due COVID19 - you are assured a full refund within 14 days of cancellation, less $15 administration fee + Trybooking fee.

Eden festival will be held on the magnificent land of Highden Temple located in Palmerston North.
Highden is:
- A modern temple and mystery school where ecstatic union with our inherent divinity is embodied and taught.
- A growing sacred community where a culture based on love, freedom and life force is practised.
- A unique venue in Aotearoa, New Zealand.

The estate has male and female flush and composting toilets which will be made available for use.

Shower blocks are available on site

Tap water on-site is safe to drink.
CODE OF ETHICS
We aim is to create a safe and exciting space for participants to explore and learn.
This is a drug and alcohol free event.
Be clear with yourself and others, and communicate your personal boundaries in a way that is clearly understood.
You can ask to sit out if you wish not to participate in any exercise suggested in any of the sessions
No cameras/video devices or photos permitted. We will have our own photographer and videographer and you will be asked if your photo can be taken or published online.
People of all gender identities and expressions are welcome to all presentations.
The aim of the Eden Festival is that of education, community and celebration. Please join us in creating a relaxed and supportive atmosphere for everyone.
To reduce waste we encourage you to take your rubbish and recycling with you when you leave the site. Please do not leave any rubbish behind.
