Ecstatic Dance \u2737 Morning Nature Sessions A Monthly Sunday Morning Ritual in Nature ... which invites the whole tribe to dance together for community nourishment and celebration, to create a humble and heartful space - where everyone can be welcomed into a safe and expressive, conscious dance floor.
Dance is a powerful medicine, let's set ourslelves free!
Ecstatic Dance is a free form movement practice which takes dancers through an embodied journey of inner discovery, joy and freedom. This is self lead and expansive space with no rules, just some core guidelines:
?We dance barefoot.
? We dance without words, let the body speak.
? We dance without substance, no alchol/drugs permitted. We dance on the high of our own pure energy supply.
We start the journey with a short guided warm-up.
Then moving into our own unique expression ...with a Live DJ taking us on a journey through a beautifully crafted, worldly & eclectic DJ set. Weaving waves of genres and energies to get our body moving and soul smiling with our immersive silent disco headsets.
Ending the morning with softness, stillness and slow integration back into our closing circle.

Organisers & Facilitators of EDW:
Jaz the creatrix of Gŵyr Soul has been running ecstatic dances for 1.5 years amongst beautiful nature settings in Gower, from cliffs, to beachs to ancient forests. Her full moon dances honour the release of cycles for people to go deeper, to listen to the wisdom of the body and to find freedom in movement to show love for our wild, wonderful and true selves. Jaz has faciliatated at Ecstatic Dance Bristol, retreats and festivals in Wales and England. Now she is ready to grow the community to invite the whole village including families and children to the ceremony of dance!
Jen birthed Mother Tongue (formerly Wild Roots) some years ago on the southern shores of Portugal to serve expansive & nourishing experiences of connection to self & other, through the portals of embodied dance & free voice.
Dance & creativity, in all it’s forms, became a powerful medicine for her own personal journey and guided her to many spaces of mighty transformation & inner bliss, all over the world.
Now a Mother, the commitment to the the tool of dance for the unraveling of a balanced & peaceful life, is all the greater.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I bring my children ?
Yes, children are very welcome to this event and we will have a dedicated creative kids area.
Will there be someone to look after my child ?
No, we will have a guardian angel who will be holding the space and energising joy and creativity in the kids area, they hold no responsibility over the care of any child. Every parent/carer is responsible for their own child and no child under 5's should be left un-attended in the kids area. So, please - if you want to dance with full presence, bring a grandparent/other parent/carer to share the responsibility and still soak up some vibes on the dance floor !
Will the music be loud ?
No, we are using state of the art, volume adjustable, dance headsets.
Do I need to bring anything ?
Bring a bottle of water & some cash for the chai bar (no card sorry) !
