About this Event
Ecstatic Dance is a form of dance in which the dancers abandon themselves to the rhythm and move freely as the music takes them, leading to trance and a feeling of ecstasy.
This is a center wide event, with two full dance floors and one lounge space for cuddles and connection. Get ready for an evening of blissful play and heart-centered dancing.

DJ VESICA is Initiator and Co-founder of Ecstatic Dance Berlin, where she is a resident DJ and the organizer of Ecstatic Dance Sundays.
VESICA, while originally from Berlin, has lived most of her adult life in the San Francisco Bay Area, CA. Oakland Ecstatic Dance saved her in 2008, when her doctoral dissertation on spirit possession & psychiatry was literally driving her mad. Ever since, Ecstatic Dance has been her twice weekly, non-negotiable pilgrimage to the dance floor -to get down and right with herself, her community, her body and the Universe.
It is no surprise then, that VESICA is a dancer’s DJ inspired by Global Bass & world electronica deeply committed to the Heart, Soul and Funk of her dancers.

Sarah Koh was born in Korea, raised on the East Coast, and now finding her home in California, Sarah has been on quite the journey. She has lived 15 years abroad, 5 years backpacking and living throughout Asia, and 10 years in France.
Sarah completed her advanced yoga teacher training in NY 20 years ago, and has also studied in Rishikesh, India, & Chiang Mai, Thailand. She has practiced and studied with many teachers and healers throughout different countries and now shares these findings in the classes she teaches and holds.
Her style of teaching is healing, highly intuitive, aligned physically + spiritually, and she naturally guides her students to find their own truth, voice, expression, and inner knowing.
