Come dance with us June 5th!!! LOOHOO will be guiding us through our next ecstatic dance! Lindsay Hester aka DJ LoO HoO started her DJ journey in the underground scene and Ecstatic Dance in the Summer of 2020 in Salt Lake City, Utah. As an Open Format DJ, she has the ability to mix a wide variety of EDM, but her favorite genres are Funk Bass/Glitch-Hop, Electro Funk/Tech House, Tribal Trap, Experimental Bass, Midtempo, Downtempo, and Melodic Deep House.
Since her start in 2020, LoO HoO has played at SKY, The Block, The Krishna Temple, The Clubhouse, The Sacred Journey, Desert Basin, Boomerang's, Why Kiki, Jaguar Occult silent discos, many private parties, high school dances, and even a few weddings. She has opened for big name artists such as Jessica Audifred, Manic Focus, Sultan + Shepard, and EVDE. She has also performed at several local festivals including Paradigm, Electric Pow Wow, Hidden Oasis, Revival, Omunitymoons, Incandescence, Camp KnowName, ILLUMINATE, and the SLC WHITE PARTY.
LoO HoO Productions is the founder and promoter of L.O.T.U.S. "Ladies of the Underground Series" empowering female DJs, flow artists, dancers, painters, and vendors in the local scene. She is also the Co-Founder of "Kidz Kreation Day" inspiring parents and children to cultivate their talents and healing through connection in the alternative arts.

Ecstatic Dance is the perfect place to discover and express your most authentic self on the dance floor. Ecstatic Dance offers a safe space to implement the medicine of movement for the betterment of one's overall health. Intentions for ecstatic dancing include physical improvement, emotional release, deeper connection to self, a better relationship with the body and so much more. Other benefits and aspects of Ecstatic dance is the culture that is found in the community.
The beginning of the event is designed to give attendees the opportunity to be introduced to ecstatic dance in the opening circle as well as give space for some socializing. Dance is 2 hours and begins after opening circle. A short sound bath follows to lower the energy and then the evening is closed with a sharing circle. Sharing circle gives dancers the opportunity to share their experience and or gratitude for the facilitators. There is time & space for more socializing after the sharing circle and we encourage new comers to attend the full experience. Cacao will usually be available during the event but costs extra. If you are unfamiliar with cacao, you may do your own research or ask the host upon arrival.

7:30 - 9:30 p.m.~ Ecstatic Dance
9:30 - 10 p.m. ~ Sound Bath & Closing
