We are Toronto’s leading weekly Ecstatic Dance Community with nearly 800 dances offered and counting. Literally, thousands have danced, healed and celebrated with us since our first dance in January 2006. Join our growing dance community!

¨Meet El Extravagante¨ ~ CosmoVision Records
¨El Extravagante¨ is a synthesizer lover / cumbia-magician, bohemian street-poet / DJ. An immigrant from South America based in France, at the ¨other side of the world¨. Most importantly, he’s a folkltronica & electronic rhythms diplomat in North America, making electronic music with a tropical edge.
Apart from being an artist, Felipe Nadeau, the man behind the character is a culture and arts manager co-directing the beautiful project known as @CosmovisionRecords, spreading love for the new forms of folklore and electronic music from LatinAmerica and all the world. A record label not for the few, but for the many = )
Today he has been working in diverse projects around the world getting lots of attention and being one of the main artists in rhythms such as Tropical Bass and Electronic Folklore based in Canada. He has been invited to play in Paris, Vienna, Berlin, Lima, Santiago, Toronto and more, but most importantly, he’s the founder and co-director ( alongside Don Mescal ) of the beautiful project Cosmovision Records in Montreal / Canada.

We invite you to dance, sweat and connect with yourselves and each other. This is a place where you can feel free to move and express whatever is alive in you and whatever comes up when you shake up your cells. It is also nonverbal, barefoot, alcohol/drug-free to keep the experience intentional. Together we create a safe space for dance and authentic connection that is healing, inspiring and uplifting. Community, music and dance is our medicine.

We dance every Thursday. Doors Open 7:30pm. Circle 8pm. (You can come after Opening Circle, the door is always open.)

...until 10:30p | COMMUNITY-INSPIRED SOCIAL TIME, SNACKS, MUSIC MAKING, SINGING, SOUNDING, DANCING

What is the Church like to dance in?
Our weekly dance home is 5000 sq. ft. with high ceilings, huge windows, incredible hardwood floor & a crystal clear sound system.

Ecstatic dance is freestyle dance - move however you wish - honour your body - dance with bare feet - no experience necessary - all ages, genders, cultures, sizes are welcome - respect yourself and one another - bring comfortable clothes to move in - bring water to drink - alcohol-free and recreational drug-free - safe and sacred space - let the music take you on a journey - see you on the dance floor
