Its been a little while since we had a dance but we are excited to be back and in colaboration with Soundbath Southern Maryland at the St. Mary's County Arts Council Building in Leonardtown, (top floor).
Spencer will guide us through a trauma and tension release warm up to get us ready to move. Spencer is trained in TRE therapy, a modality of somatic release to let go of any tension you may be holding onto from your day.
Matt aka Jeweled Lotus will be guiding us through a dance journey with music from around the world centered on creative embodiment expression. Accompanied by his live Native Flute jams, Matt's sets move us through tension to bliss.
Ruth, Matt, and Stephi have a very special Soundbath involved gongs, native flutes, singing bowls and more to cool us down after our dance.
If you have not experienced ecstatic dance yet, yes you have, likely in your kitchen or shower. Yes that's all there is too it, so why not do it with silly friends.
