Ecstatic Dance is a conscious dance - a free form of expression through movement. It’s suitable for every age and physical condition.
There is no right or wrong way to move or be on the dance floor and no choreography. You move on the dance floor as you like. It's a space that you ride the waves of the music an inner journey where you can freely express yourself to let go and to let the music and your body guide you as you wish.
Your journey on the dance floor might bring up different forms of emotions which you can freely express on the dance floor. Your can dance alone or with somebody as you like and as long you respect others boundaries.
The dance relaxes our body get's us out of our heads grounded and is good physical training as well.
Bring comfortable clothing and a bottle of water with you.

Ecstatic Dance Guidelines:
- Be mindful of other persons boundaries
- No drugs or alcohol
- We dance without shoes
- It's a nonverbal journey but voice sounds are welcome
- No mobile phones or electronical devices on the dance floor
- Be clean and fresh. Some are sensitive to scented products (including essential oils)

Annica

In spring 2019 Annica became an Ecstatic Dance Dj and since autumn 2019 she holds Ecstatic Dance every week in Helsinki. When creating the music journeys she tries to use music from different parts of the world inspiring and letting us dance as one world tribe. Annica also has a Msc in Adult Pedagogic has studied social psychology and is a tantra facilitator and coach.
Annica love to dance and has tried different dance styles her whole life. When she found Ecstatic Dance she felt like coming home. She were allowed to express her self freely without boundaries staying in her own strength and body wisdom expressing herself to the fullest.
