The beginning of the month and new calendar year invites us all to dance through a portal of opportunity. We reflect on the last 12 months of our lives, how we’ve changed, what went well, and what did not. How then, would we like to proceed? What would we like to create, to feel, to become? What/who must we say goodbye to, so that we can create ample space for our new creations to flourish?
We are powerful creators, gardeners, manifestors, magicians. This set invites you to take responsibility for your inner garden, your creation.
Together we plant seeds of intention with every step we dance. With our attention, we water our newly planted seeds, watching them grow slowly and strongly. And with each twirl on the dance floor, we thank, and gently release any accumulated weeds. May each song be like the winds of inspiration that facilitate your inner transformation.

Playfight (Mini) 7-8pm
Playfighting is a form of physical contact and playful confrontation with one or more people. Playing around in a ring and entering in physical contact with one another in a mindful way can be deeply liberating and incredibly fun. Playfighting can lead to self- and body- awareness, and may well bring to light some unexpected qualities of ourselves. We will create a safe space to have fun. But the space will also open us up to experience and exchange feelings and energies that we rarely get to see in our normal dally routine. Through the playful struggle with a self-chosen opponent (who can accept or reject the challenge), we come into contact with ourselves, our play, our power, and our unseen shadow.
