Ecstatic Dance San Diego returns Friday, September 19th in Encinitas with BreathTWERK workshop led by Creatrix Sarah Lane followed by Ecstatic Dance set & closing sound journey by Asheville DJ, songwriter and producer, Noah ProudfootThis is our only dance in September - so make sure to catch us
We will return to our regular schedule of 1st & 3rd Fridays in October.
Ecstatic Dance is a community movement, a sacred space for you to explore, unwind and unfold your true expression.
Come be held by the dance floor, the music and the community, connect non-verbally with yourself and others and tap into the magic of this liberating movement space.

BreathTWERK

BreathTWERK is a breathwork + dance journey designed to awaken your wild, primal nature in a somatic movement experience. Your journey begins with guided 3-part Conscious Connected Breathwork to get out of your head and into your body. Then we move into yoga-inspired floor movements followed by dance, twerking, vocal toning, and more. Uncage your wild, awaken your sovereignty, and transmute energy in this powerful somatic experience.
As the Creatrix of BreathTWERK and an ecstatic dance DJ, Sarah Lane has helped thousands reclaim their sensuality on the dancefloor through somatic practices, breathwork, and music.
Sarah’s extensive training in Breathwork, Reiki, Yoga, and Somatic Coaching provide a grounded, holistic approach that equally values spirituality and humanity. She provides a trauma-sensitive, non-judgmental space for strong emotions such as rage and grief to be felt and alchemized.
Any space that she holds – from a dancefloor to a rage ritual – helps you worship at the altar of your body temple and reclaim your sacred pleasure and power.

Asheville DJ, songwriter and producer, Noah Proudfoot, blends sacred and rhythmic soundscapes with medicine bass, hip-hop, and world music to take dancers on a transformative journey of the heart. Influenced by a love of mantra and meditation, his mixes are carefully curated to amplify presence, embodiment, and expression.
Rooted in the healing power of music, Noah’s approach to ecstatic dance is both intuitive and intentional. Each set is a living prayer, designed to open doorways of connection—within the self, with others, and with the earth. With an ear for dynamic flow and a heart attuned to the moment, he crafts experiences that are both deeply grounding and elevating.

Ecstatic Dance Guidelines
1. Move however you wish
2. No talking on the dance floor
3. Respect yourself and one another
4. No Shoes, No Booze
5. Please also refrain from photos, videos, strong scents/perfumes, glitter and shoes on the dance floor.
6. Touch is Sacred ~ Many people dance in their own space, and others share their space with another. To engage in a dance with someone, use sensitivity: Are they open to sharing their space with me? Mirror movements, offer a hand, brush by, make eye contact, and see & feel how they respond.
