Description: "Safari njema" is a Swahili phrase that translates to "have a good journey" or "safe travels". It's a common and friendly thing to say to someone embarking on a trip. I welcome you to join me on a journey through music that I feel is inspired by the rich culture of African music and dance. Sacred rhythm's and drumming will be a prominent feature. Imagine the distant landscape of vast plains, dense jungles, roaring water and wild untamed animals. Connect to your inner wisdom of shared lineage and participate in one of the oldest human traditions of all--dance.
