DJ SPASIBA (KATYA STEPANOV)

DJ SPASIBA, Co-Founder and CEO of Inheritance Project, Founder of Resonance Gathering, Events Alchemist at We Are DFL, Board Member at Collective BAE, Human Design Oracle for individuals and organizations, speaker, artist and actress (ongoing).
I was born in Minsk, Belarus during the fall of the Soviet Union. I emigrated as a Belarusian-Ukrainian-Jewish refugee and grew up in Fair Lawn, New Jersey. I live on Lenape land in Brooklyn, NY. I am a proud "third-culture kid”, having walked between worlds since my birth.
I am an artist, first and foremost, and I believe the role of the artist is to create. Creation is an act of birth, and all births require a visionary and a vessel, a process of imagination, growth and development, a portal or canal and a ritual of emerging as a new being onto the material plane. Creating a work of art, a business, a child, an idea — all follow this map, and I have devoted the last 15+ years of my life to guiding this process for myself and others. My superpower is experiential structuring. With the right structure, anything can be built.

My goal is to create a community movement to bring more aliveness into our daily lives, in order to deepen the connection we have with ourselves, one another and with all of life. From 2022-2024, I studied and lived in Sicily, Italy, learning studying community dance and drumming. I learned traditional Southern Italian dances, Romani dances, and Southern Italian and Middle Eastern Frame Drumming. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Smith College. Other trainings include Kohenet: The Hebrew Priestess Training Institute, Headlong Performance Institute and many years of experience of intuitive movement.

GENEVIEVE

Genevieve is a transformative somatic movement facilitator. In 2020, Genevieve underwent the JourneyDance program. Ever since, she has been hosting free-style dances & somatic movement workshops in New York & beyond. She is passionate about guiding others to connect deeper to their bodies for self- expression and somatic release. Genevieve will be opening up the dance floor and creating the container for connection and exploration.

OPAL SUNFIRE: (RYT 200 - KULA COLLECTIVE)

A scholar of Peace and a weaver of universal Love, Opal Sunfire is an intuitive mystic, a certified yoga teacher, and a lifelong groovy, day-dream believer. A folk magick practitioner and community organizer, Opal seeks to build interfaith collaborations that celebrate both life and spirit. Founder of Opal’s Magnum Opus: Art + Metaphysical Gift Shoppe, Opal finds deep pleasure in sharing her knowledge and craft at local markets and pop up events. Her mission is simple: provide folks with the knowledge, tools, and experiences needed to inspire their mind, body, and spirit - in a culturally kind and competent way.
