What is ecstatic dance?
Ecstatic dance is a form of dance in which participants allow themselves to move freely as the music takes them, getting lost in the rhythm of their soul, leading to feelings of bliss.When we listen to what our body needs and move in ways that feel right, we start to heal. Our body often knows what we can’t always put into words, and by moving with intention, we can address our inner needs. It’s important to let go of any shame about how we move, even if it feels unconventional, so that when we return to the world, we come back stronger and more empowered. This is a safe space for healing, and we’ll support each other through it.
Before and after the dance, we’ll gather in a circle to share our intentions and discuss what came up for us during the experience.
Monetary Donation is $15 if you buy online leading up to the event!
$20 the day of online and $22 at the door!
Seeking Vendors! There is no vendor fee due to it being in its beginning stages! I am seeking a single vendor per dance, who will vend their goods. There will be 2 vendors per event (I am one of them!)
*Guidelines*
1. Please no phones in hall during dance.
2. Refrain from talking during dance. Allow yourself to fully submerge yourself!
3. This is a Sober Event.
