Yes, it is still Ecstatic dance indeed :))) We dance at King's day, celebrating this ground we dance on, but also freedom of expression in sober, wholesome ways! Can we still have a party, surrounded by like minded humans, but not in traditional way? I have seen it many times, yes we can!

Welcome at Ecstatic Dance Groningen.
What happens in Ecstatic Dance? It is a speechless, booze’less and shoeless movement journey. It is a free form adventure, where we are taken through musical landscapes curated by inspiring DJs, and invited to re-connect to our body. We give shapes to emotional, physical and even mind processes through dance and movement, sometimes very subtle, as a waves of breath, sometimes big as a whirling dancing star, and everything in between.
You can travel fast, slow, expressive, inward, very solo or with a partner, with a group, or beyond.
Together we aim to create a space full of energy, where everyone feels safe to explore, express & enjoy a natural state of ecstasy.
