Ecstatic Dance GR - GROUNDED TRANSITIONSJoin us on the Autumn Equinox dancing in an ambient, lantern-lit space, designed to help you tune out distraction and connect more fully with your movement.
Our theme is Grounded Transitions - honoring the shift from the vibrant, outward expansion of summer into the grounding, inward energy of autumn. As the days grow shorter, we invite you to move with the rhythms of change and explore how transition feels in your body. The low-lit space creates a cocoon-like atmosphere where you can release, reflect, and reconnect with your own roots, while preparing to step into the next season with steadiness and clarity.

About Ecstatic Dance
Ecstatic Dance is a free-form movement practice - no choreography, no steps to follow. It’s centered on release, connection, and authentic self-expression. A form of moving meditation.
These events are held in safe, intentional spaces that support presence, freedom, and inner exploration.
We dance without talking, without outside shoes, and without substances - creating a sober, grounded container to connect with your body and breath.
About The DAAC
The DAAC (Division Avenue Arts Collective) is a volunteer-run, all-ages, sober space dedicated to fostering creativity, connection, and community through art, music, and movement.
Located in the heart of Grand Rapids, The DAAC provides an inclusive, DIY-friendly venue where people of all backgrounds can gather, express, and co-create. It's a space built by and for the community - welcoming, safe, and full of heart.
We’re honored to host this ecstatic dance in a space that shares our values of freedom, expression, and collective care.
