About this Event
Join us for a transformative day of movement exploration with Hana Rakhshani, dancer, facilitator, and somatic therapist. Liquid Roots offers an introduction to Contact Improvisation, a playful, embodied dance form rooted in listening, communication, and co-creation.
Over the course of this day-long intensive, we’ll dive into the fundamentals of contact improv—developing strength for partner work while cultivating the fluidity needed for touch-based improvisation. Themes of embodiment, listening, play, communication, and consent will be woven throughout our practice. Expect to move, explore, and discover new ways of connecting with yourself and others through the language of the body.
About Hana Rakhshani:
Hana is a dance and movement facilitator with a focus on somatics, embodiment, and trauma therapy.
