With TaKeTiNa you encounter rhythm in its direct essence. Using primal rhythmic movements and rhythm archetypes TaKeTiNa provides you with the most direct connection to this fundamental power of life.
TaKeTiNa is not about learning a certain rhythmic pattern, doing body percussion or getting stepping and clapping coordinated. It is about a deep connection with life through rhythm. It is a practice, that leads you to reclaim every single day and enter into a deep meditation.

About ALINE SCHURGERS:
My passion has to do with body rhythm and groups: the art of searching and strenghten "rhythmic bonding"
As a social psychologist, I am a coach and facilitator in Collective Intelligence techniques with organizations and people. I also teach group dynamics and team work in a BA's degree.
My long-term practice with traditional European dances and my training in dance-rhythm therapy led me to set up dance therapy workshops and performances for a wide range of people (with Parkinson Disease, Alzheimer, children, students, mental health, etc).
I decided to become a TaKeTiNa Rhythm Teacher when I realized how, into the flow, ideas become clearer, emotions find their balance and transformation occur on such a deep level. All that in synchronicity with others and held by the group.

DJ TAYPHOON
Tayphoon’s ecstatic dance journeys are inspired by his Turkish heritage and his love for ethnic dance music from all around the world.
His sets are characterized by energetic waves which start in a meditative state and build up to an ecstatic outburst in which he invites the inner wild animal to be expressed and natural ecstasy to be experienced.
He guides the dancers through warm middle eastern melodies, bouncy ethno beats, powerful tribal rhythms and cheeky psy bass drops.
His sets incorporate a wide range of genres which welcome the dancers to reconnect with their light and their shadow and all the abundant flavors of emotion.
