🎧 Your DJ for February 9: TurtleBear
With deep presence and an intuitive sense of flow, TurtleBear weaves genre-bending sound journeys that are both strange and beautiful—collages of sacred sound, heavy beats that lift the heart, and rhythms that invite peace through movement. Drawing from deep house, bass, ecstatic dance, and organic tribal styles, his sets are intentionally crafted to hold space, create contrast, and guide dancers inward and outward at once. Mixing for over a decade and rooted in the Denver scene since 2020, TurtleBear brings versatility, depth, and a rare ability to carry the room through sound.
✨ Opening Guided Movement Workshop with Patrick Padden
We’ll begin the evening with a guided movement lab inspired by the intimate connection of blues dance. Through simple partnered exercises and musical exploration, we’ll play with presence, balance, listening through the body, and creative expression—finding ease and clarity in connection with self and others.
🎵 Closing Sound Bath with Annmarie Fore
The night concludes with a nourishing sound bath from professional sound healer Annmarie Fore. With wisdom, presence, and an enchanting array of instruments, Annmarie offers a beautiful integration—an invitation to rest, receive, and let the dance settle into the body.
Every part of the evening is crafted as a journey—to open, release, connect, and recharge.
