Ecstatic DanceEcstatic Dance is more than a class. There’s a live DJ, but it’s not entertainment. It’s a co-creative, transformative group experience. Because dance and music changes your body, frees your mind, and feeds your spirit. And, it’s a hell of a lot of fun.
Our teacher, Donna Carroll, begins by guiding you through a warm-up and breathwork sequence, then DJ Radiance plays a 90-minute ecstatic dance set designed to bring you on a journey of self-discovery, followed by a restorative sound healing and closing. There’s no choreography to follow, no dance moves to know, and no way to do it wrong!
It’s a life-changing party and you’re invited.

Meet our DJ:
Nina, aka Radiance, weaves big beats and sacred sound to craft ecstatic dance and somatically-sensitive movement meditation.
A certified Ecstatic Dance DJ, conscious dancer, and certified meditation teacher, Radiance composes a range of deeply grounded experiences, from sacred, heart-opening journeys to deep groove thumping bass sets.

About your teacher Donna Carroll:
As the founder of Ecstatic Dance International, Donna has designed and produced thousands of events, including community-focused weekly dances, leadership workshops in Amsterdam, Lake Atitlan (Guatemala), Odemira (Portugal), and San Francisco, and conscious concerts for stars including Porangui and Ayla Nereo. She is the co-founder of Ecstatic Dance Oakland, quoted as “a cross between a yoga class, a rave, and a church service,” and has been featured on NPR, in the Huffington Post, the SF Chronicle, The NY Times, and Common Ground Magazine.
